When Sascha Dhanjal moved from Chicago to Madison, she noticed something different about Wisconsin’s food and CPG community.

“The community might be smaller,” she says, “but it’s way more engaged and collaborative. It doesn’t feel like people are competing. It feels like people are asking, ‘How can we bring each other up?’”

That sense of camaraderie is what drew her to join the Naturally Wisconsin Advisory Council. Through programs like the FaBcap Accelerator, she experienced firsthand how willing founders and advisors are to share resources, make introductions, and help each other navigate challenges.

Sascha hopes Naturally Wisconsin continues to define success in its own way. Rather than trying to mirror larger markets like Chicago or New York, she believes Wisconsin’s strength lies in its character: a community of entrepreneurs who care deeply about food, health, and the environment—not just exit strategies.

“I dream of a world where the Wisconsin agriculture side marries the Wisconsin CPG business side,” she says. She sees opportunity for deeper collaboration between farmers and brands, bringing more shared understanding and stronger partnerships to the products being built here.

For Sascha, the energy of the ecosystem comes alive most in person. Casual meetups and community-driven gatherings create space for real conversations and real collaboration.

At its core, she sees Naturally Wisconsin as a connector—bringing together people who are passionate about building better food systems and helping each other grow.
